Concrete shipment scatters on road
Two construction materials shipment trucks of the same company crashed into each other on Shaikh Salman Highway in the Capital Governorate on Tuesday.
The mishap took place at 12 noon, near Gufool, Zinj and Salmaniya intersection.
The force of the impact caused one of the truck’s shipment of concrete blocks to fall onto the road and scatter everywhere, causing a huge traffic congestion on the busy road that lasted for at least an hour.
Civil Defence removed the blocks, while traffic police diverted the traffic flow and slowly restored traffic on the road.
No injuries were reported.
