Equestrian efforts noted
Manama : Supreme Council for Youth and Sports assistant general secretary and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar gave thumbs up to the work undertaken by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation to achieve its aspirations.
This came at Askar’s reception of federation president Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa at the committee offices in Seef.
Askar commended the efforts of Shaikh Faisal in the development of the federation, and also extended the committee’s support to the federation plans, especially the recently-launched programme ‘Estijabah’.
‘Estijabeh’, which is also known as (Response), was declared by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, and BOC President, in an attempt to create a new march for Bahraini sports.
