New ISO boost for Kanoo Shipping
Manama : Kanoo Shipping, a business division of the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group (YBA Kanoo), achieved a milestone of having all branches across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia upgraded to the new “ISO 9001–2015” Standard certification.
The new standard, according to YBA Kanoo, helps to improve overall performance and provides a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives, which fits into the Group’s Vision 2020 transformation programme.
“Upgrading to ISO 9001 – 2015 in Kanoo Shipping branches reflects our serious commitment towards delivering sustainable excellence through all the Group’s businesses. This achievement came as a direct result of the accurate implementation of the systems by the operations and support team in respective branches,” Fawzi Ahmed Kanoo, YBA Kanoo’s Acting CEO said.
Branches of Kanoo Shipping, which received the ISO 9001 – 2015 upgrade are in Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah, Rabigh, Jubail, Khafji, Ras Tanura, all in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as the branch in Bahrain.
