Fervour of charity among NMS-DPS students
With a vision to develop an understanding towards the society and its needs, the students of New Millennium School-DPS undertook a charity drive on 9th April, 2018, by donating 10 wheelchairs to Bahrain Parents Care Society.
The fund was raised through NMMUN (New Millennium Model United Nations Conference), organized in October 2017. The New Millennium School is the first CBSE school in the island, to host an International Model United Nations for two days, in which around 250 delegates from 5 schools across Bahrain participated.
Dr. Ravi Pillai, Chairman, Geetha Pillai, Managing Director & Arun Kuumar Sharma, Principal appreciated the students for their noble gesture and thanked both the parents and the teachers for their efforts in inculcating the sense of social responsibility among students.
Every year, funds are collected through various school activities and are donated to charity organizations in the Kingdom.
