BIC adds electronic music duo Disclosure

Manama : Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) announced yesterday that popular English electronic music duo Disclosure will be performing at the Formula 1 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.

Consisting of brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence, Disclosure are Grammy-nominated artists who have collaborated with the likes of Mary J. Blige, Sam Smith, The Weeknd, Lorde and Eliza Doolittle, to name a few.

They will be taking to the stage on the Saturday night of the highly anticipated Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, which is scheduled for April 6 to 8 in Sakhir. They will close out the show on the 7th with a DJ set.

Disclosure are the third major international artists who have been announced by BIC as performers at this year’s Formula 1 extravaganza, which brings together the very best of motorsport and world music.

Disclosure join music icon Carlos Santana and American singer-songwriter Benjamin Booker on a fantastic entertainment programme. Santana will be performing on April 6, the Friday night of the Grand Prix, while Booker and Disclosure will be offering double the delights on April 7.

All those with tickets to the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend will be able to attend the concerts at no extra charge. Holders of Friday-only tickets will not be granted access to the Saturday shows.

Aside from their Grammy nominations, Disclosure have also been nominated for multiple Brit Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and International Dance Music Awards, including in 2016 when they won for Best Full Length Studio Recording for their album “Caracal”.

Disclosure have been touring the world non-stop over the past few years, and now they will be performing one of their acclaimed DJ sets in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the big Bahrain Grand Prix weekend.
