Community Partnership Day celebrated with joy

ManamaThe Capital Governorate has celebrated Community Partnership Day with enthusiasm to promote participation of citizens in the service of the country.

Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, inaugurated the event at Seef Mall, with the participation of the Community Police and the committee on combating violence and addiction. 

During the event, the Governor was briefed about  the activities of the participating parties and their ways of promoting community awareness among different sections of society.

“The Kingdom’s celebration of the Community Partnership Day is a reflection of the importance of the cooperation of citizens, residents and civil society organizations with security personnel to achieve safety and security for the Kingdom,” said Shaikh Hisham.  The day was celebrated in cooperation with different groups of society. 

“The province will continue to implement its projects, programmes and initiatives aimed at consolidating the principle of community partnership in various fields. The fourth edition of the ‘Capital Weekend’ programme will be launched along with the sixth edition of the summer programme, in addition to the implementation of the seventh edition of ‘Nation of Mohammed (PBUH)’ programme during the holy month of Ramadan as a concept in promoting community partnership,” he said.

 “Further, all the activities planned for this year will be implemented in accordance with the Minister of Interior’s initiative to achieve the concept of community partnership in the Capital,” he said.
