GPIC all set for periodic maintenance: Dr Jawahery

Manama : Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) has announced plans to implement a comprehensive periodic maintenance at the plant next month.
This was revealed during a meeting of company’s staff with President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery.
Work programme and a plan, with emphasis on the necessity of committing to complete the operations in time, put in place, were discussed on the occasion.
Technical arrangements made by the Company in preparation for this comprehensive task were also discussed. These ranged from developing plans and bringing the latest equipment from different parts of the world, execution of operations by the best technicians and skilled workers not only from GPIC but also from within and outside Bahrain.

General Manager Manufacturing Fadhel Al Ansari presented a detailed description of the maintenance operations and the stages to be followed in accordance with the plan and approved budget. Other members of the team gave presentations according to their specialization. The maintenance will be held from April 1 to 23.
Dr. Jawahery and other officials had started preparations for the period exercise after the last on three years ago. Several periodic meetings to prepare a road map for the work have been held regularly to ensure all measures are taken for its smooth completion.
