Bahraini Strongest Man launched

Manama : Supreme Council for Youth & Sport First Vice Chairman and Bahrain Royal  Equestrian & Endurance Federation President HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa opened #Bahraini_Strongest_Man Championship competitions.

The launch ceremony was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports and, the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Assistant Secretary General.

HH Shaikh Khalid toured in the Championship site and checked the arrangements and preparations of the competitions.

HH Shaikh Khalid met the hero of Worlds Championship of the strongest man in the Britain, the British fighter Eddie Hall. He talked with the British hero about the championship and the best ways to improve it, and the goals that will be achieved and reflected on the level of supporting Bahraini youths to practise such sports.

The participants took their registration and checked their weights. The organizing Committee allocated a corner in the championship site as a “Medical Village” that turned into a museum. 

British Hero Eddie Hall has appeared to the audience on the Championship stage and talked about his sport life and experience in the Sport of Strongest Man.

The array of events included “Playing with fire” by professionals in this game, then the Cancer Patients had their chance to stand on the Stage and talk about their story with this disease.

The Kuwaiti actor Bo Sakher joined the competitions of the opening day and talked about the importance of practicing sports exercises and the combination between sports and humanity deeds.

Bo Sakher paid tribute to HH Shaikh Khalid’s initiative by allocating the incomes of the Championship to support Cancer Patients.
