Al Daaja to face Pitpitunge

Manama : Jalal Al Daaja has signed with Brave Combat Federation to compete in Amman, Jordan for Brave 10. 

Currently training at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand, Jalal is set to face Crisanto Pitpitunge. 

Before embarking a career as a full-time MMA athlete, Al Daaja was pursuing his career as a qualified civil engineer. He have revealed that the growth of sports in the region and the immense role played by the Brave Combat Federation is generating alternate career option for the youth.  

“I wanted to be free to follow my passion. The career change was expected as I come from a family of sportsmen and fighters. My father is a retired Lieutenant, two of my brothers are soccer players and one of them is a fighter. I started Taekwondo with my father when I was six and a half years old. From there, I made the transition to boxing and won the National Boxing Tournament. Later on, I switched to kickboxing and became member of the National Kickboxing team, representing Jordan. It was then MMA got my attention and started getting inclined toward the sport as a full-time MMA competitor,” explains Jalal. 

Today, having represented Jordan in some of the biggest stages, Jalal admits that MMA is his true calling, and it changed his life in many ways.

“MMA gave me a lot of publicity. It also enabled me to inspire others to quit all the wrongdoings and get on the right path. It also expanded my social circle as I got to know people from different parts of the world, representing different countries and culture. I will follow the path that I have chosen for life,” added Jalal. 

Alongside Jalal, some of the biggest names in Jordan are currently part of the Brave Combat Federation roster. 

Abdul Kareem Al Selwady, Jarrah Al Silawi and Nawras Abzakh will be representing Jordan at Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises. Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises will feature 24 athletes representing 13 nations.
