Bahrain Super Giants triumph

Manama : Bahrain Super Giants lead by Deepak Nair triumphs over Kalaam Knight Riders. 

The toss was won by Kalaam Knight Riders who elected to bowl. 

Skipper Deepak and Sarfaraz opened for Super Giants. 

Sarfaraz scored a brilliant half century, he scored 58 runs in 32 ball including seven fours and two sixes. 

Deepak and Sarfaraz put a 44 runs partnership for the first wicket. 

At the end of 20 overs, Bahrain Super Giants put a fighting total of 176 runs for 9 wickets.

Chasing the target, Kalaam Knight Riders started with their openers Imran Butt and Guru Prasad. 

Imran went with 3 runs, Shyam took the first wicket for BSG in his second over, Guru was playing progressively from one end but from other end BSG bowers were reaping wickets. 

Guru scored a brilliant half century and the middle order batsman Safdar scored a 33 runs in 19 overs. 

At the end of 20 overs KKR managed to score only 154 runs and BSG won the match by 22 runs. 

Shyam took three wickets in this four over spell and Shikdar and Joby took two wickets each for BSG. From this victory Bahrain Super Giants registered their first victory in BPL and opened their points account. Sarfaraz won the man of the match award.
