Bahraini weightlifters promise gold medals
Manama : Ebtissam and Zainab Ali Abdulla, the Bahraini weightlifters, have affirmed their readiness for West Asia Weightlifting Championship 2018.
The Bahraini weightlifters were enthusiastically conducting intensive training ahead of the championship.
The cited their latest participation in the Arab Championship in Cairo where they won chromatic medals.
They hoped to represent the national team during the championship scheduled to be hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain on March 15-20.
The sisters thanked their family and friends, other Bahraini weightlifters as well as the technical crew and the Bahrain Weightlifting Association’s (BWA) board of directors for their support.
They promised to exert their maximal efforts to win gold in harmony with the motto and initiative of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, to make 2018 the Year of Gold.
