Manama : Matrix beat Hempel Paints by 24 runs in the latest matches of the CBA Division D cricket tournament.

Hempel won the toss and elected to bowl first, Matrix opener went cheaply and middle order took the responsibility.

Jagan scored 66 runs and well supported by Danushke who scored 44 runs helped Matrix to put a fighting total of 168 at the end of 25 overs.

Vijay took 4 wickets for Hempel paints.

Chasing the target,  tidy overs from Manju and Shafeer did the damage for Hempel batting order. They took 4 and 3 wickets respectively. Hempel windup for 144.
