Bahrain Indian School excels in Bhavans’ GCC Spell Bee
Bahrain Indian School (BIS) children out shined in Bhavans’ GCC Spell Bee- Grand Finale organised by Indian Educational School, Kuwait on January 20.
This was a challenging uphill battle wherein the students competed with the finalists of other Bhavan’s schools at GCC LEVEL.
The competition was coordinated by BIS Educator Arpita Datta and the English Department Faculty members.
The nerve wrecking competition came to an end when Parth Gupta in Category 1 was announced as the Spell Bee Champion and was awarded with Rs. 50,000/-, followed by Manini Lalit Desai of Category 2 and Steve Chalil Biju of Category 3 who bagged 3rd prize and cash worth Rs. 5000/-. Mahima Susan Thomas of category 4 bagged fourth prize.
It was a glorious moment for the parents , students and BIS fraternity. BIS Directors, Principal, Coordinator and all teachers extended their heartiest congratulations to all the winners and their parents for their immense hard work and excellent performance.
