Emerging entrepreneurship era

The era of entrepreneurship has been dominating the clouds of the kingdom of Bahrain since the last couple of years in a big way.

In recent years I have witnessed that Bahrain has rapidly grown in the field of producing entrepreneurs in every business with amazing projects and ideas. The concept of being an entrepreneur has become like a fashion that doesn’t seem to fade by. We have embraced this whole idea so gently that it has become second nature to every second graduate to open their own business with a creative personal touch of their own and go for the passion related field instead of a safe and sound corporate job opportunity. 

Why would the new generation take this risk of putting all their energy into a business world where they have barely taken a few steps? Why not secure your future from an early stage with an income that is guaranteed? 

I believe this is the confidence that our great nation and its families and culture that has given the new generation a lot of strength, courage, motivation and fascination, that many young people sense when they either graduate or even start before graduation. 

There are many examples in Bahrain of these entrepreneurs that have proved their points through how popular they have become in a very short period. It is not always about money, it is their passion that derives them and takes them to the top where they stand out among many others and make success bold and bright. These young achievers have registered their companies, paid all the increased government  fees over the years , fought through the recession and still kept their mark in the market, because they believe, where there is a will there is a way. 

I can make a never ending list companies in different business in this content, but just to give you a small example, the Galleria mall in Zinj has around 8 outlets which are owned by Bahraini entrepreneurs . These companies have been created by Bahraini owners to make their passion come into reality. As I mentioned earlier, there  are ample of such examples that can support the theory of the emerging entrepreneurship era.

I believe this original concept of coming up with your own business has spread world wide where entrepreneurs regardless of weather they are young or old have diversified the growth of the economy especially in countries that were depending mainly on oil and gas.
