BIS celebrates annual day

“Rendition” was the theme for the 3rd Annual Day Celebration of Bahrain Indian School -BIS which was celebrated on Thursday at Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Hall, Segaya. The evenings saw a mesmerizing blend of cultural programmes that were impeccably orchestrated to portray the unmatched calibre of the students of BIS.

Anand Prakash, Second Secretary, Embassy of India, Kingdom of Bahrain was the Chief Guest and Jaffar Al Shaikh, Asst. Under Secretary for Educational and Curriculum Affairs, Ministry of Education, Guest of Honour, graced the occasion. The guests were welcomed at BIS by Saji Jacob and Directors Himanshu Verma and Ritu Verma.

The guests addressed the audience and enlightened them with their words of wisdom.

The mesmerizing evening saw magnificent confluence of melodious orchestra, frolicsome dances, mesmerizing dance performances highlighting Indian & International culture, musical drama on ‘Snow white and seven dwarfs’ to the classic English skit on Macbeth.

The gala event also highlighted the achievements of the School in terms of academics and infrastructure through Annual Report followed by the release of the School Magazine.

The entire show was greatly appreciated by all the guests for the exuberant display of talent and commitment by the students & teachers of the school.
