Bahrain Auto Fair 2018 inaugurated

Manama : Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, inaugurated the Bahrain Auto Fair 2018 (BAF), the biggest automobile festival in the Kingdom at the Bahrain Financial Harbor yesterday. 

The event organized by SolidVision in cooperation with Eleven & Bridge is being held in an area of 20,000 square meters in the heart of Manama under the patronage of Shaikh Hisham.

Simultaneously held with the 4th edition of Bahrain Shopping Festival - Shop Bahrain - the expo is a unique annual forum for all carmakers and car enthusiasts.  The event is expected to attract more than 40,000 visitors from all over GCC countries with people of all age groups. 

On the occasion, the Governor of the Capital expressed his desire to promote such activities that contribute to tourism in the Kingdom. 

Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the event, praised the support provided by the Capital Governorate for the festival, stressing that the support will lead to achieving the objectives of the fest.

Bahrain Auto Fair 2018 is showcasing diverse recreational activities with a test drive area to try out a wide variety of cars - classic and exotic cars, motorbikes and modified cars.

A number of special car modification companies are also on hand to provide visitors with a unique opportunity to modify their cars. A food court with a variety of food and beverages, other exclusive activities such as raffle draws are also organized at the venue.

Car finance companies and banks are also participating in the event. The expo will conclude on January 21.
