Beach Cleaning at Busaiteen
Manama : The Lions Club of Riffa in coordination with the Muharraq Municipality undertook a beach cleaning activity at Busaiteen Beach, Muharraq.
More than 100 students from New Millennium School, British School and St. Christopher’s school joined in this event which was one of the largest such event promoting environmental consciousness in Bahrain.
The organisers provided gloves, rakes and bags to clear the beach. Sanjay Gupta, President, Lions Club of Riffa said: “LoR is an organisation whose services are dedicated to the community in Bahrain through its charitable activities towards social causes for more than 22 years. We have been regularly conducting such events to spread environmental consciousness among students and young adults.”
