Joshua reveals he will fight Wilder

LondonAnthony Joshua wants to fight Deontay Wilder after brushing aside Joseph Parker.

The undefeated Brit’s fight with Kiwi Parker is expected to be announced this weekend with Joshua set to defend his IBF and WBA belts in March.

And presuming he beats the WBO holder, Joshua plans to put all four belts on the line and take on “big mouth” Wilder in a huge Las Vegas showdown.

The 28-year-old claims the bout with WBC holder Wilder is set to rock the boxing world and create history.

Speaking on the Graham Norton show, Joshua said of his next opponent after Parker: “Deontay Wilder, he’s got a big mouth.

“This is the plan next, this is when the guys where I grew up can get to Vegas and have a good time and watch a bit of boxing as well.

“This will be the fight that makes history.

“But it’s interesting, let’s just say I’ve done the hard work, I’ve managed to keep the four belts and I’ve got to put everything on the line to bring them back home so it’s a real tough one.”

Wilder is facing a mouthwatering prospect of giving drug cheat Luis Ortiz another chance on March 3rd.

The Bronze Bomber was due to fight Ortiz on November 4, but the bout was shelved for a year after the flabby heavyweight tested positive for a banned substance.
