AMAIUB celebrates Bahraini Women’s Day

AMA International University-Bahrain celebrates Bahraini Women’s Day

In response to the call made by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Women Council, AMA International University-Bahrain (AMAIUB) celebrated the Bahraini Women’s Day at the University Auditorium.

This activity honoured AMAIUB’s female Bahraini employees and recognized their significant contributions to the Kingdom’s socio-economic goals.  

Because this year’s Bahraini Women’s Day theme is celebrating women in the engineering field, the University also acknowledged some of its employees who are graduates of AMAIUB’s informatics and mechatronics engineering programmes and are currently working under the College of Engineering.

AMAIUB deems that the Bahraini Women’s Day celebration has also inspired its female engineering students to be more competent in their chosen specialization because they will soon be part of the empowered Bahraini women in the field of engineering.

The female Bahraini faculty and staff expressed their thanks and appreciation to AMAIUB for honouring them in the said event.
