Bahrain schools celebrate National Day

Manama : Schools in Bahrain organized the Kingdom’s 46th National Day with great enthusiasm and fervour at its campuses with a series of events depicting patriotic feelings towards the beautiful nation. 

 

The Indian School Riffa Campus

Bahrain National Day was celebrated by the Indian School Riffa campus children by the longest human formation of ‘I love Bahrain’ on the campus. 

The fete was accomplished by the combined effort of 4325 students from LKG to class III under the guidance of the staff. 

ISB Executive Committee Members Saji Antony and Jayafar Maidani hoisted the national flag in the presence of Riffa Campus Principal Sudhir Krishnan,  Vice Principal Pamela Xavier, Staff Representative Priya Laji, Head Teachers and Coordinators.  

The grandparents of the school’s Bahraini students were the special invitees to the show who commended the school’s effort to imbibe the spirit of the nation among all students. 

An aura of patriotism filled the air with the sweet sound of Bahraini music everywhere and students and staff dressed in the flag colours or traditional attire. 

The exhibition of local culture, henna designing, sharing of Bahraini delicacies and greeting one and all on the occasion of the National Day added to the portrayal of the local ambience at School.

New Millennium School – DPS

Bahrain National Day was celebrated by students of New Millennium School – DPS with   posters of Bahrain reflecting the message of national unity.   

Students dressed up in traditional Bahraini costumes filled the air with feelings of celebration and excitement.  Students participated with zeal in a Bahraini dance showcasing the glorious traditions, customs and culture of Kingdom.  

School Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai, Managing Geetha Pillai and Principal Arun Kuumar Sharma congratulated and extended best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the People of  Bahrain on the occasion of National Day.

Pakistan Urdu School

Pakistan Urdu School also celebrated Bahrain National Day with full zeal and enthusiasm.  

Arabic department exhibited Bahrain culture in a beautiful manner. Students were dressed in traditional Bahraini attire and waved flags chanting songs depicting their love for the Kingdom.
