Insurance companies to take care of minor accidents
Manama : The General Directorate of Traffic and the Bahrain Insurance Association have reviewed mechanisms to assign dispute-free minor accidents to insurance companies to enhance and speeding up services.
The two sides agreed to review the technical and legal mechanisms of the project and the formation of a joint team to conduct a study on the project.
The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Deputy Director-General of Traffic, Col. Mohammed Ali Daraj.
Al Daraj said the move would enhance services provided to the public in a way that doesn’t clash with legal requirements in case of a major violation that needs the interference of the traffic department.
