Increased cooperation need of hour, says Prime Minister

Manama : His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday asserted that increased cooperation and coordination, as well as continuous communication, have become an urgent necessity amid the rapidly unfolding developments and changes in the region. In the face of huge challenges a unified stance and vision are necessary to achieve the best for the region and its people, and ensure stability, HRH Premier said.

HRH Prime Minister made the statements as he received Royal Family members, senior state officials, economic, media and press personalities and citizens, at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday. A number of issues were reviewed at the meeting.  HRH Premier affirmed that the Kingdom’s development march will continue unabated as the ultimate goal of the government action is to ensure security and stability for the people, in addition to quality services that meet the needs of the citizens. 

The Kingdom values highly the giving of its citizens – men and women, and will never forget those who have made sacrifices for the sake of making Bahrain a prosperous nation in which everyone feels secure and stable, HRH Premier said.

“We are blessed with a good and generous people whose citizens are conscious and are always ready to support the nation in the face of all challenges. This is not strange, as they are the offspring of the forefathers who had instilled in them the importance and value of patriotism,” Premier said.

HRH Prime Minister affirmed that the government will carry on its plans and programmes aimed at consolidating development and progress through implementing development programmes across towns and villages to meet the service needs of the citizens there.

HRH Premier hailed the progress witnessed by Bahrain’s cities and villages in the construction, urban and infrastructure fields, stressing that the government will spare no effort in order to ensure the conform of the citizens and provide their needs in the housing, health and educational sectors, among others.

HRH Premier lauded the key role played by the members of the Legislative Branch in raising the issues of the nation and the citizens, praising their constant interaction with all national issues, especially those related to the kingdom’s safety and stability.
