Korean Food Festival “Taste of Korea”
Manama : The Embassy of the Republic of Korea is hosting its first Korean Food Festival 2017 in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the title “Taste of Korea”.
The Festival, organized collaboratively by Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Korea Foundation and Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, is to exhibit the variations of the Korean tasty cuisine and offer its guests a close up feel to the savoury taste of the most traditional Korean dishes.
“Taste of Korea” will take place at the Diplomat Hotel’s Grand Ambassador Ballroom at 6pm on Thursday, November 23.
The Festival comes in line with the Embassy’s program for the year of 2017 in promotion of the Korean culture in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and before that the Embassy organized a blockbuster dance performance at the City Center Mall where Bahraini audience enjoyed the hip moves of Korea’s top B-boy band, Jinjo Crew.
Following the Food Festival, the Embassy will gear its wheel towards the closing show of the year; “Korean Movies Festival” which will take place at the Seef Mall’s Seef I Cinema Complex, every Wednesday, throughout the month of December.
