Salmeen, Ali Al Kowari win Friday competition

ManamaMohammed Salmeen and Ali Al Kowari win the Awali Golf Club’s Friday competiton with a score of 40 points. Runners-Up were Ali Danesh and Mahmood Falamarzi with 39. Third place went to Rob Thompson and Jonathan Jane with 39, fourth place went to Hamad Al Qutami and Mohammed Faraj with 38, and fifth place to Onny and Joan Martin with 38. 

This competition was the BMMI Johnnie Walker Foursomes stableford format, first held in the 1967/68 season. 

This year’s event was played in warm and windy conditions. The sponsor provided a generous prize table and product tastings.
