Kooheji pursues Brave 9 in Russia
Manama : Hamza Kooheji is undergoing his final phase of training leading to Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions in Russia. Hamza will be facing the top bantamweight fighter in India, Mohammed Farhad in Bahrain on November 17. KHK MMA fight team has also joined Hamza in his training camp at Russia. Hamza Kooheji is on a three fight winning streak and is the only professional MMA fighter from Bahrain.
Meanwhile Mohammed Farhad is on a 6 fight winning streak and has the longest undefeated streak in the history of Indian MMA. The popularity of Farhad has also let him featured in the action film Bhaagi against Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. The face off between Hamza Kooheji and Mohammed Farhad is referred by global media as - The pride of Bahrain versus the prodigy from India.
The 2017 Brave International Combat Week will also feature the first ever IMMAF World Championship of Amateur MMA under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
