Egypt declares a three-month state of emergency

Cairo : President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a republican decree declaring a three-month state of emergency all over Egypt starting Friday, October 13.

"The Armed Forces and the Police Authority will take all the necessary measures to confront terrorism and its finances, maintain the country's security, protect public and private properties and the citizens lives," the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.
