Sitra market to be revamped
Manama : The Sitra Central Market will undergo a major revamp under this year’s projects budget, the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning announced.
The move followed the directives which were issued by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa to revamp the market and undertake the necessary maintenance works.
Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs Dr. Nabil Mohammed Abul Fateh said that expedite administrative and technical measures would be taken to implement HRH the Premier’s directives duly.
Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf had updated the weekly Cabinet session on plans to revamp Sitra Central Market.
Dr. Abul Fateh extended thanks to HRH the Premier, hailing his keenness on following up citizens’ needs in services across the country.
