Brave featured on ‘Fighters Only’

Manama Brave Combat Federation is featured on ‘Fighters Only’ which is one of the prime platforms for mixed martial arts.

In less than a year of existence, Brave Combat Federation, the Bahrain-based Mixed Martial Arts promotion founded under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has expanded to unprecedented levels and carried the Bahraini flag worldwide. The last episode of this international awareness saga came with the latest edition of Fighters Only, the most traditional and respected MMA publication around the world featuring Brave Combat Federation.

The piece, signed by Michael Owens, celebrated the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, his passion for the sport of MMA, and the impact that Brave has caused in such a short time span. Yearly, the British publication, which is distributed across continental Europe and the United States, promotes the World MMA Awards, popularly known as “the Oscars of Mixed Martial Arts”.

“That was the acknowledgment of all the hard work our team has been investing in this national project. It’s been a busy year for all of us but we feel pleased that the international community is recognising the effort of ours implementing Shaikh Khalid’s vision and transforming the sport of Mixed Martial Arts,” said Brave CF president and KHK MMA CEO Mohammad Shahid.

Brave Combat Federation next instalment in the Kingdom of Bahrain is set to take place from November 12 to 19 with Brave International Combat Week, a series of events across the country including Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions, the biggest professional MMA event ever promoted in the Middle East, on the 17th at the Khalifa Sports City, and the 2017 IMMAF World Championship, the most important amateur competition in the world brought to Bahrain under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
