ITF Juniors tennis begins from October 23 to 28
Manama : The Ninth Bahrain ITF Juniors Tennis Championship is set to take place from October 23 to 28 at the Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) in Juffair, under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.
On this occasion, BTC President, Khamis Mohammed Al Muqla expressed his thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Mohammed for his patronage of the championship for the ninth year in a row and the support of the Minister of Sports Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder to ensure the success of the event.
The Bahrain International Championship, which was launched in 2009, is one of the most important and largest youth tournaments in the world and BTC has been a leader in organising such tournaments.
More than 150 players representing 40 countries from around the world have registered to date with the number set to increase before the deadline for Sunday’s draw.
