International award in PM’s name proposed

ManamaArab Parliament Deputy Speaker and member of the Council of Representatives MP Adel Al-Asoomi has proposed an international award to commemorate the noble contributions of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa that would bear his name and be granted to individuals, institutions and organisations.

HRH Premier’s local, regional and international efforts to promote peace and co-existence have gained him acclaim from various countries and organizations, he said, extending sincere congratulations to the Prime Minister on obtaining the Shield of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) in recognition of his landmark contribution to promoting the traditions of peace, tolerance and diversity.

Al-Asoomi added that HRH Premier’s contributions to consolidating the pillars of peace, tolerance, love, harmony, security and prosperity have gone beyond the local level, but reached the Arab and international levels, lauding HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman’s milestone achievements in consolidating the values of tolerance and co-existence over the past decade as a Prime Minister, which entitle Bahrain to be a model to be emulated.

The Arab Parliament deputy speaker expressed Arab peoples’ pride in the efforts of HRH Premier, describing him as an iconic personality that has always set the example in dedication and unwavering determination to continue the nation-building and prosperity march.

Al-Asoomi asserted that  the Premier’s landmark achievements have been attained thanks to the pioneering Reform Project spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad  bin Isa Al Khalifa.
