‘King Hamad Global Centre to promote peaceful coexistence’
Los Angeles : The establishment of the King Hamad Global Centre for Inter-Faith Dialogue and Peaceful Co-Existence will contribute in consolidating the principles of social co-existence and cohesion among various peoples, said Vice-Chairman Board of Trustees Chairman and Executive Director of the Isa Cultural Centre, Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
He was speaking on the sidelines of the Isa Cultural Centre’s participation in the ceremony to launch the “Bahrain Declaration Document”, and the inauguration of the King Hamad Global Centre which includes a museum that showcases historical and modern documents bespeaking religious freedom and peaceful coexistence in the Kingdom.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Board Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation attended the ceremony on behalf of HM King Hamad, the patron of the event organised by the “This Is Bahrain”.
