Premier lauds Saudi services to pilgrims

ManamaHis Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has lauded the efforts exerted by sisterly Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, to take care of pilgrims and ensure the success of the pilgrimage season.

“Thanks are due to sisterly Saudi Arabia and to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for such endeavours which have been appreciated by everybody. We pray to Allah the Almighty to preserve Saudi Arabia and its leadership so as to continue serving the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations,” the Premier said. 

HRH the Prime Minister expressed confidence that the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are capable of achieving the aspirations of their states and peoples for more progress and prosperity, stressing the importance of preserving the blessings of security and stability, currently enjoyed by GCC peoples, and enhancing the comprehensive development process.

HRH Prime Minister made the statements while receiving a number ambassadors, senior state officials, economic figures, journalists, media personnel and citizens, at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

While reviewing local and international issues, HRH Premier underlined the government’s keenness on carrying on the implementation of development projects across the Kingdom for the sake of achieving progress for the nation and the well-being of the citizens.

HRH Prime Minister lauded the patriotic role played by the private sector, and its multiple contributions to supporting the national economy through investing in various sectors.

He also praised the role played by the members of the business community to enhance the Kingdom’s nation-building and development efforts through contributing to building a robust basis for the national economy.

“What has been achieved in the Kingdom regarding the development process at all levels has opened up wider horizons for growth, and consolidated the Kingdom’s ability to deal with all challenges confidently and flexibly,” he said.

HRH Premier affirmed that various regions in the kingdom enjoy comprehensive development, highlighting the government’s unwavering efforts to ensure quality life and strengthen the pillars of security and stability so as to enhance economic growth.

“The citizens of Bahrain are known for their conscious and enlightened thought, and have succeeded in entering various fields thanks to their hard-work and determination,” he also said, stressing that the nation needs all the national muscles in order to continue the development and modernisation process and achieve economic and social growth.

HRH the Prime Minister expressed sincere appreciation to the press and media personnel for the key role they are playing in enlightening and educating the public opinion, praising the influence of the press and its role in developing societies through the issues they raise professionally and objectively.
