400 athletes to participate in Brave Int’l Combat Week

Manama : Over 400 athletes from over 60 nations will participate in the Brave International Combat Week 2017 which will take place from 12 to 19 November in Bahrain. 

This was announced yesterday by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation. 

Announcing the details, Shaikh Khalid said that the event will consist of a premium edition of Bahrain’s Brave Combat Federation, IMMAF World Championship and a series of expos focused on business, combat sports and sports based initiatives.

Brave International Combat Week 2017 will feature the first ever IMMAF World Championship to be held outside the United States of America, which is considered as a massive victory for Bahrain as a leading force in combat sports.  

The week-long tournament, which will crown the best martial artists from the world, have also prompted foreign investments, brand collaborations and surge in investments opportunities in the fitness, tourism, hospitality and service sectors.
