Comfortable win for South Sehla

Manama : South Sehla Youth Centre comfortably defeated Shakhoora Youth Centre 6-2 in the final round of matches in Group 5 matches of the preliminary stage of the Fifth Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities and Girls (Khalid 5) at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town.

The man of the match was Sayed Alawi of the South Sehla team.

In other Group 5 action, Aali Club beat Al Qadisiya 4-2 with Sayed Baqer the man of the match for the winning team, while Sanad ran out 4-1 winners against Busaiteen with Sanad’s Ali Abdulaziz the man of the match.

In a Group 6 match, North Sehla surprised Sanabis with a 2-1 win as the latter had previously been unbeaten, man of the match was Hassan Shaker of the North Sehla team.

The final round of five preliminary matches were being played last night.

Meanwhile, Karranah Youth Centre fans expressed their gratitude to Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder for replying to the village’s needs and requirements to build a youth centre in Karranah.

Meanwhile, competition in the disabled category begins today from 5pm with the participation of eight teams divided into two groups of four, playing six matches.

This tournament is being played under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities and organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the Media Office of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, under the slogan #Generations_Meeting.

It started on July 24 and continues until September 14 and features 59 teams, divided into 36 youth centres teams, 9 unregistered clubs, 8 teams of people with disabilities institutions and 6 girls teams.
