Al Naim crush Al Qurayya 10-0

Manama : Al Naim Youth Centre crushed Al Qurayya Youth Centre by 10-0 in its final Group 2 match of the Fifth Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities and Girls (Khalid 5) at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town.

The win saw Al Naim qualify for the knockout stage after winning five games from five and accumulating 15 points to top the group with Ali Abdulghani of Al Naim adjudged by organisers as man of the match.

Al Qurayya though finished out of qualification contention as they finished with just two points.

In another Group 2 match, East Riffa was involved in a goal feast as they defeated Karbabad 11-3, with East Riffa’s Ali Al Salim nominated as man of the match.

Group 3 action saw Salmabad crush Bani Jamra 13-0 with Hussain Al Qassab of the winning team the man of the match and Zayed Town were 5-3 winners over Dar Kulaib with Mohammed Yaqoub the man of the match for Zayed Town.

In a rearranged Group 5 match, Sanad and Shakhoora played out a 2-2 draw, with Riyadh Mohammed of the latter the man of the match.

This tournament is being played under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities and organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the Media Office of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, under the slogan #Generations_Meeting.

It started on July 24 and continues until September 14 and features 59 teams, divided into 36 youth centres teams, 9 unregistered clubs, 8 teams of people with disabilities institutions and 6 girls teams.
