Police seize cars for holding rally
Manama : Several vehicles were seized by the Traffic Directorate in the Kingdom for holding parades on public roads.
Sources told DT News that the authorities seized the cars of expatriates while riding in a convoy to celebrate Independence Day.
“The officials seized my car saying that the vehicle will be released only after a week,” a source said.
Another source told DT News, “Ten cars were confiscated on 14th August.”
“I took the matter to the Embassy of Pakistan,” One of the sources said adding: “The cars were released yesterday with the help of the Ambassador.”
