BCCI to host seminar on GCC Conformity Assessment Scheme
Manama : The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is hosting an induction seminar on the GCC Conformity Assessment Scheme on Tuesday at 9 am in Al Majlis Hall of Bait Al Tijjar.
The seminar will be held in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism and GCC Standardization Organization (GSO).
The seminar aims to raise awareness of the scheme which helps enforcing the implementation of Gulf standards, ensures consumers’ safety, streamlines the flow of goods among GCC member states, eliminates technical boundaries curbing trade, and invigorates the commercial and industrial sectors.
