Manama : Tornado A crushed SNCS Royal Rider 3Q by 135 runs in the latest matches of the Bahrain Cricket League (BCL) 25 Overs Golden League at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.
Batting first, Tornado A scored a massive 236 for seven in its 25 overs with the runs shared around by Naveen (51), Sunny (51), Nithin (40) and Diju (32) with Aneesh (two for 32) the best of the bowlers.
In reply, SNCS were then dismissed for 101 with Sreekumar (36) the main scorer and Diju (three for 31) being the pick of the bowlers.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Zayani defeated Falcon CC by 46 runs in the 25 overs Diamond League Match after scoring 209 for four in its 25 overs thanks to fine knocks by Anoop (83) and Sudeesh (50) with Hanif (two for 27) the best of the bowlers.
Falcon CC were restricted to 163 for nine despite a fine effort by Rassal (88) as Rijo (five for 31) ripped through the batting to secure victory.
