Advanced Recovery Course planned
Manama : A first course in Advanced Recovery and Regeneration organised by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) Sports Training and Development Centre (STDC), has been planned for next week.
The four-day course, to be held at the National Stadium’s Conference Hall in Riffa, gets underway on Sunday and continues until July 5 with 18 specialised national coaches of different sports expected to take part.
International instructor Nicolas Berryman of Université de Montréal in Canada will be conducting the course and was hired at the rank of assistant professor at Bishop’s University’s Sports Studies Department, where he is a member of the Psychological Health and Well-Being research cluster.
Berryman is also a research associate at the Cognitive Health and Aging Research Lab at Concordia University, and at Université de Poitiers’ MOVE lab.
