Expatriate ends life
Manama : An Indian expatriate ended his life at his residence in Salmabad yesterday. Rajesh Battu, an employee with Olympic Contracting Co W.l.l, was found dead in his in apartment around 1:30 pm yesterday.
“He hung himself and we still don’t know why he did it. We are really sad about the loss as he was a really good foreman. He did suffer a lot of health problems and constantly kept complaining about it, but we are still clueless as to why he ended his life,” said one of his colleagues.
The body will be repatriated back to his homeland after completing legal formalities.
