Qatar’s policies towards GCC destructive: Shaikh Nasser

ManamaA national campaign has been launched to support the Royal Guard Commander, Brigadier His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who recently affirmed the stance of the Kingdom and regional states against the conspiring policies of Qatar against Bahrain and GCC and Arab countries.

HH Shaikh Nasser’s statements came while he delivered a speech at the closing ceremony of the Royal Guard Ramadan Sports Tournament, which was patronised and attended by the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa on Wednesday.

The Royal Guard Commander condemned in his speech the conspiracies of Qatar with Iran and the enemies of the nation against the Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and other Arab states.

He described Qatar’s policies as attempts to bring destruction upon the nation and to separate it.

Without specifically naming Qatar, HH Shaikh Nasser said, “Their evil conspiracies, hostile ambitions and their fake credibility were exposed.”

He reiterated the readiness of Bahrain Defence Force soldiers and Royal Guards in protecting the Kingdom and the nation under the command of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, highlighting the role of Bahrain’s martyrs who died while on their national duties.

HH Shaikh Nasser’s speech was admired by many local and regional officials, citizens and netizens, including the Royal Guard’s Special Force Commander Major HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, launching an online campaign under the slogan “We are all Nasser bin Hamad”.

Among the audience were HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Yusuf bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and a number of senior BDF officers.

As reported earlier, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Yemen and other Arab and Islamic states severed all ties with Qatar over its supporting policies to terrorism and meddling in other countries’ domestic affairs.

Recent revelations and evidences proved Qatar’s roles and coalition with Iran to create chaos in Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other Arab states, while pretending to join hands with the same countries on surface.
