RCO opens training centres in Philippines
Manama : Bahrain, as part of its charitable and humanitarian contributions, opened two vocational training centres in the Philippines which was hit by a cyclone recently.
The centres were opened in Tacloban and Subic upon directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Supreme Council for Youth & Sports Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee President & Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and was inaugurated by RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed.
“We are honoured to help the Filipino people and to provide assistance to all as part of the Kingdom’s humanitarian efforts,” HH Shaikh Nasser said.
His Highness added that the vocational training centres are part of Bahrain’s keenness and readiness to provide assistance and contribution to the reconstruction efforts in the Philippines.
