Child dies in Hamad Town fire
Manama : A two-and-a-half-year-old child was suffocated to death after a fire broke out in a house in Hamad Town around 9:00 am yesterday.
Overload of power led to a short circuit in the house.
The fire also resulted in damaging most parts of the house. Ministry of Interior later issued a tweet confirming the death of the child due to asphyxiation and the civil defence took the necessary steps to douse the flames.
