BTA Junior Tennis: Riyaan beat Zaidan
Manama : Ahmed Riyaan defeated Hajar Zaidan 7-3, 7-2 to win the 8 years and under category of the BTA Junior Tennis Tournament, organised by Bahrain Tennis Academy (BTA) at the Dilmun Club in Saar.
In the third-place match, Abdulaziz Al Betairi came from behind to beat Hashim Al Toobli 5-7, 7-5, 7-4.
Earlier in the semi-finals, Ahmed defeated Abdulaziz 10-7 and Hajar overcame Hashim 10-2.
All participants who took part in the round-robin stage till the knockout round received a certificate for their efforts.
