Bahrain Polytechnic and Silah Gulf partner up for Bahrain Economic Vision 2030

ManamaBahrain Polytechnic signed a memorandum of understanding with Silah Gulf at the Polytechnic campus on 20th April 2017, where Polytechnic students will have the opportunity to enhance their practical skills in a real business environment.

Students will be offered internships, work placements, cooperative projects, on the job training, part time or summer jobs by Silah Gulf. Additionally, Silah Gulf will facilitate industrial visits, as well as provide the Polytechnic with guest speakers to share their knowledge and expertise with the students.

Dr Jeff Zabudsky, CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, stated, “We want our students to gain experience in a real company during their studies, ensuring that they are work-ready upon graduation.”

“I’d like to thank the management of Silah Gulf for the partnership, especially as it will meet Bahrain’s 2030 Vision and the government action plan 2015-2018,” added Dr Zabdusky.

Ricardo Langwieder-Görner, CEO of Silah Gulf, said, “Silah Gulf is a brainchild and best practice of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. We are excited to partner with Polytechnic to further grow the services industry in Bahrain”

MoU was signed by Dr Jeff Zabudsky, CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic and Ricardo Langwieder-Görner, CEO of Silah Gulf. 

Representatives from both parties including Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Deputy CEO of Resources & Information Affairs at Bahrain Polytechnic, Sameera Alatawi, Director of ICT, Talat Abdulla, Acting Manager of Industry & Liaison, Suad Al Kabie, Chief of Talent at Silah, Abdulrazzaq Al-Matri, HR Manager and Humood Jassim Abdulla, IT Manager were present during the signing.
