THE ART OF SILVERSMITHING

People of Bahrain are known for their silversmithing craft from the Dilmun era until now. In this workshop you will learn more about the craft and you will get to make your own silver ring. Free Admission. Minimum age 18 years old and above. Silversmithing is the art of turning silver sheet metal into hollow ware (dishes, bowls, porringers, cups, candlesticks, vases, ewers, urns, etc.), flatware (silverware), and other articles of household silver, church plate or sculpture. It may also include the making of jewelry.
