BIC to host weekend of Open Track and Ultimate experiences

Manama : Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) will be holding back-to-back evenings of exciting track action today and tomorrow in Sakhir.

Today the hugely popular Open Track Night will be welcoming motoring enthusiasts to drive their very own road cars or bikes down BIC’s world-renowned 5.412-kilometre Grand Prix Track, while tomorrow a series of Ultimate Track Experiences will be on offer to the public.

Action will take place on the 2.55-kilometre Inner Track.

Today Open Track Night will be held under BIC’s state-of-the-art floodlighting system from 4pm to 11pm and allows people to drive for a whole night, or for just half a night or a single 30-minute session.

Friends or family members who would like to accompany a participant as a passenger in their car can also pay for the chance.

Meanwhile, a pair of passenger rides are sure to give motorsport fans an exceptional new thrill. The Clio Cup Passenger ride gives clients a look into the racing capabilities of one of the world’s most popular sports cars and comprises a single three-lap session of around 40 minutes or the Radical SR3 Passenger Ride which can go from zero to 100kmh in 3.4 seconds and comprises a three-lap session of around 40 minutes.

Action tomorrow is from 8am to 4pm with three activities from the Ultimate Track Experience.
