Diamond League: Pak Panthers beat Kerala XI

Manama : Pak Panthers defeated Kerala XI by four wickets in the latest matches of the BCL 25 overs Diamond League at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Kerala XI scored 172 for nine with Sajeer (56) and Justin (40) top scoring with Naqeeb (two for 20) the best of the bowlers.

In reply, Pak Panthers reached the target in 21 overs after making 173 for four thanks to fine knocks by Bilal Ashraf (73) and Ibrahim (39) with Sham (two for 35) returning the best bowling figures.

In another match, Fire Link also won by four wickets against LuLu as the latter were dismissed for 154 with the main scorers being Nishad (56) and Sajith (31), while Jabar was the pick of the bowlers with a remarkable spell of bowling (eight for 22).

Fire Link reached the target with a delivery to spare in scoring 157 for six with Asitha (55) and Rizwan (52) leading the way despite a fine bowling effort by Nijo (two for 15).
