Bahrain to host APA meetings
Manama : Bahrain will host the meetings of the Economic Committee in the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Bahraini MP and APA Deputy Speaker Abbas Al Madhi confirmed that the meetings will see the participation of 96 members from 21 member countries of the assembly.
Commenting on the meeting, Al Madhi explained that the event will help enhance Bahrain’s ability to manage parliamentary affairs at the Asian level.
This, according to him, will also enhance the trust given to the Kingdom by the APA members to chair the Economic Committee and to the position of Vice-President of the assembly.
