Curtain Call rides to win
Manama : Second favourite Curtain Call owned by Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, owned by Abdulla Kuwaiti and ridden by Abdul Rahim Jassim won the sixth race for the Porsche Cup - Gold for handicap (0-80) imported three years and upwards over 1,000 metres straight and worth BD2,000 at the 24th and penultimate race meeting at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club in Sakhir.
Coming in second a length and a half was pre-race favourite Lolla Fincess owned by Awal Racing Syndicate, trained by Abdulla Kuwaiti and ridden by Alberto Sanna.
In third place a neck behind was Rita’s Boy owned by Green Stable, trained by Osama Hashim and ridden by Marco Monteriso, with Langoval owned by Al Mohamediya Racing, trained by Allan Smith and ridden by Brett Doyle a further length behind in fourth.
